Show Notes

When you sit down to create your knit or crochet design and pattern, are you feeling frustrated, confused, or unmotivated? Chances are you're using a design process that isn't optimal for you. There are certain steps required to create a design idea and a pattern, but you don't have to follow those steps in any specific order. Even the best designers follow different design processes.

As humans, we are different people. Our brains work differently, our creativity works differently, and we have different parts of the process that make us most excited. It's time to figure out what process works best for your brain, your creativity, and your goals so there's more joy in your pattern designing.

In this episode, I talk about the 10 steps to designing knit and crochet patterns, explain why my process works so well for me, and show you how to adjust the pattern according to your interests, strengths, and goals.
